Destiny

The Cheltenham School District uses Follett Destiny Library Manager for managing their library resources. This solution not only allows librarians and administrators to keep thorough, real-time track of a library’s inventory and media assets, but also gives students a fun means of discovery and reading. Destiny Library Manager is a complete library management system that can be accessed from anywhere, 24/7, helping to strengthen the crucial bond between the library, the classroom, and home.

Each student has a unique username and password to access the system but you do not need to log into the system in order to search our inventory. By logging into Destiny however, students can create their own reading lists as well as other user specific items. Your local librarian will supply students with their passwords and provide more in depth training on the system. Click on the image above to go to your local school's Destiny site.

Learn Dewey

Melvil Dewey was an American librarian who devised the Dewey Decimal Classification for library cataloging. All students learn how to use this system to locate books in our elementary libraries. For more information on the Dewey Decimal system, here are some sites you can visit.
